Discontinuation of API v1 XML Support
The InvoiceXpress API built in XML will be discontinued by December 31, 2024.
Below are answers to some frequently asked questions regarding this change:
Why is the InvoiceXpress XML API being discontinued?
This decision is part of our strategy to continuously develop and improve the InvoiceXpress API. JSON is a lightweight, flexible, and widely used format in today’s tech market. Therefore, InvoiceXpress has decided to focus its development efforts on the JSON API, allowing us to introduce improvements and new features more quickly and regularly, benefiting all clients who want to integrate and automate their invoicing via API.
I want to switch to the InvoiceXpress JSON API. Who can guide me?
We understand that this change may impact clients still using the XML API. For this reason, we have planned a transition period of more than 6 months. All JSON API documentation is available on our website, and our support team is ready to help with any questions.
Am I required to switch from the XML API to the JSON API?
We respect all clients who have relied on the XML API over the years. This version will continue to exist, but support from our team will end in 2025. Improvements and bug fixes will only be applied to the JSON API. Therefore, we strongly recommend migrating to the JSON API.
I only issue invoices through the InvoiceXpress app. Will I be affected?
No. If you only use the app to issue documents, this change will not impact your daily operations.
Where can I find the XML API documentation?
If you want to access the XML API documentation, you can find it here
