Do I need to create a new sequence to issue invoices next year (2026)?
No. Using a new sequence for each calendar year is completely optional. Some companies choose to create a new sequence purely for internal organization, but it is not a legal requirement.
You may continue issuing invoices in 2026 using the same sequence you currently use.
If you choose to create a new sequence, its numbering must start at number 1. If you keep the current sequence, the numbering will continue in the existing sequential order.
To create a new sequence:
- Click the icon in the top-right corner
- Click Sequences / ATCUD

Click Create New Sequence
If you choose to create a new invoicing sequence, you must create it in InvoiceXpress. The registration will be carried out automatically by InvoiceXpress with the Tax Authority, provided that communication with the AT for sequence registration / ATCUD is already active in your account.
