How to cancel your InvoiceXpress subscription?

The cancellation process depends on the payment method used in your last renewal:


🔢 Payment was made via Multibanco Reference. What do I need to do to cancel?

If your last renewal was paid by Multibanco reference, you don’t need to take any action. The account will be automatically suspended when the current subscription period ends.


💳 I have an automatic payment by credit card. How do I cancel it?

If you have an active subscription with automatic credit card payments, you should:

Go to the "Preferences" menu (top right corner of the page) > "Manage Subscription".

Then click "Cancel Subscription":


🔔 Note: If the "Cancel Subscription" option is not available, please contact our support team at [support@invoicexpress.com]. We’ll be happy to assist you with cancelling the automatic payment.


Before cancelling your account, please note that according to Portuguese law, you are required to store your invoicing documents for 10 years. For this reason, we recommend exporting your account data beforehand:

📦 What you should export:


  • Documents, contacts, and items – go to Preferences (top right corner) > Account Preferences > Export Data.


  • Export all account data in XML format:

This option is also available in the Export Data menu.


  • SAF-T files:

Go to Dashboard > Export SAF-T.

Here, you should export all monthly SAF-T files for the months in which documents were issued, in order to comply with legal archiving requirements.
