Multicert - Digital Signature Certificate

What is it?

Multicert is a digital signature service provider that, integrated with InvoiceXpress, offers our customers the possibility to digitally sign documents issued by a user through an InvoiceXpress account.

Obtaining a professional attribute certificate is an essential step for activating and using the Qualified Digital Signature on InvoiceXpress. This is one of two digital signature service providers available for use with InvoiceXpress, as it is also possible to use the Electronic Invoice Signing Service (SAFE) from AMA (Agency for Administrative Modernization).

Through our integration with Multicert, our customers have the option to subscribe to the digital signature service.

How does it work?

Subscription to the service is done through the Sign'Stash website. On this page, you can subscribe to a plan, by filling out the signature form, which must contain the required company details. Once the provided information is validated, you will receive all the necessary information to proceed via email.

After completing the Sign'Stash subscription, you will need to log in with your operator account to the service's back office to finalize the service provisioning. You should then purchase a certificate within the Sign'Stash platform, following the instructions provided there. Once the certificate is purchased, it is issued by Multicert.

If you need help with this process, you can count on support from the Multicert team, whose contact information can be found on this page.

After obtaining the certificate, how do you connect the service within InvoiceXpress?

Once the digital signature certificate is purchased within the Sign'Stash platform, activating it in InvoiceXpress is very simple. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the icon in the upper-right corner of your InvoiceXpress account (Settings), then go to "Communication with the Government."

  1. Access the "Qualified Digital Signature" option.

  1. Under "Digital signature suppliers," check the box ✅ authorizing InvoiceXpress to access the data, then click the "Configure Signature" button.

  1. Fill in the Alias and Password of the digital signature service acquired from Multicert. This information can be found within the Sign'Stash portal under "Customer Services > Actions > Validate Service."

If everything is correct, you will receive a success configuration message, and you'll be able to digitally sign documents within InvoiceXpress through the service provided by Multicert!
