What to do when a Digital Signature can't be activated

There are 2 reasons why an error may occur at the time of enabling the Digital Signature within InvoiceXpress:

1 - The step "Configure your data in the Autenticacao.gov.pt portal" has not been correctly set up. Check that:

  1. There is no previously created certificate for InvoiceXpress in the Autenticacao.gov.pt portal.
  2. You have professional attributes correctly configured in the Autenticacao.gov.pt. Here's how to do it.

2 – The certificate creation is not yet complete

When you turn on Digital Signature, InvoiceXpress completes 2 procedures:

  1. Certificate Request from Authentication Provider (autenticacao.gov.pt)
  2. Signature Request through EISS

It may happen that at the time of the Signature request we have not yet obtained the certificate's response. If so, when you try again, the answer should already be positive.
